Welcome to the Small Bore Rifle Club, here you will find a wide range of information regarding the Northamptonshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Target Shooting Association (NLRTSA) at Sywell Range, How To’s on reloading small bore pistol calibres and reloading data that we have collected and tested for your reference.
Sywell Range
Sywell range operates a 100-metre outdoor range with shooting positions at 50 yards, 50 metres and 100 meters. A 9-metre-high backstop is in place to effectively catch fired projectiles. Sywell range is located just off of the A43 from Northampton to Kettering, approximately 4 miles north of Northampton and 7 miles south of Kettering. It is an Ideal spot for shooters looking to test their shooting skill against longer distances and the elements.
OnTarget Range
We are an indoor Target Range based in Brackmills Industrial Estate, Northampton. We operate an N.S.R.A signed off, Home Office approved 25-yard range for Air rifles and pistols as well as .22 Rimfire and Downloaded .357 and .44 Magnum Calibres. We have been a .22 rimfire range for almost 5 years now and our rimfire club is nearly 100 members strong and growing.
Our Range comprises of 5 Rifle lanes and 2 Pistol lanes. 25 yards for rifles and 10 metres for pistols. All operated by our fully automated target runners, which allows you to continue shooting without the hassle of halting your shooting to change targets. The range is fully air-conditioned making for a comfortable shoot.
Our shop has plenty of rifles and pistols to choose from if you are looking to purchase a firearm. We stock well-known brands such as Bergara, CZ, Chiappa, GSG, Webley & Scott, Ruger, Smith & Wesson and many more. We stock plenty of live fire rifles and long barrel pistols.
Live Fire Range
Our N.S.R.A Approved Rimfire range comprises of 5 Rifle lanes at a distance of 25 yards. Our fully qualified Range Conducting Officers are on hand to ensure that you get a smooth and safe shoot. We have a large number of available club guns that are readily available for any one of our members to shoot.
